SCOPE OF WORK:

UNMC Rural Health Education Building project is a 3 story structural steel framed building.  Heartland Concrete & Construction scope of work entailed the CIP Footings and foundations, placing approx. 71,500 SF  6” slabs on metal decks for levels 2 & 3 and approx. 36,000 SF 4” slab on grade.  

Exterior site work included a 39,000 SF parking lot addition to existing parking, footings for precast planters, CIP radius stairs and walls, 16,300 SF 5” sidewalks, 5,000 SF 8” paving to tie in parking areas to University Drive, 10,000 SF 8” Bike Trail 12’ wide and mow strip along University Drive With additional work pending NTP, another 7,000 SF 8” bike trail, and additional 950 SF colored concrete sidewalk/ patio and 850 SF 5” sidewalk including  a monument sign footing, precast sculpture and bench footings, and approx.. 250 LF landscaping curbs.
